《基础英语2》教学大纲

课程的教学目的与任务

该课程在《基础英语1》的基础上通过丰富语言现象巩固已学知识,利用语言形式、语境锻炼学生的语言交际能力,进一步提高学生对英语的词汇、语法和习惯搭配等知识学习的系统性,使学生的词汇量达到5000,能读懂中等或偏下程度的原著,学习重点是习语表达和习惯搭配等并注重培养学生独立学习思考的能力。

课程的基本要求

1、语音:初步掌握多音节词、复合词、常见句子重音模式、基本句型的语音语调以及朗读和说话的节奏。

2、语法:基本掌握主谓一致关系,表语、宾语、定语和状语等句型,直接、间接引语,动词不定式和分词形式,各种时态、语态和构词法。

3、词汇:认知词汇4,000—5,000个,熟练使用2,000—2,500个。

4、听力:听懂英语国家人士所作难度不超过所学语言知识的讲话,如VOA慢速新闻英语。

5、口语:能就日常生活话题进行交谈,语言基本得体。

6、阅读:能阅读浅显材料以及Reader’s Digest,速度为每分钟70--120个单词。

7、写作:能在30分钟内写出120--150个单词的短文,语言正确,能书写基本应用文。

8、翻译:能独立完成课程中的各项翻译练习,语言通顺。

9、工具书使用:能熟练使用《英汉大词典》、Oxford Advanced English Dictionary、Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English等工具书独立解决语言问题。

10、文化素养:了解各国(英语言国家为主)主要文化传统,具有一定的人文知识和科技知识,具有较好的创新能力。
